It’s time for November’s pick of travel blogs we love and it’s now my turn to choose three that inspire a little wanderlust in me. You can find Amanda’s chosen blogs from last month here.
First up is Project:Wanderlust. I have to declare an interest here and say that Alice who writes this blog is a good friend of mine. In fact, one of my favourite trips last year was a day trip to Paris with Alice (I’m a poet and I didn’t know it), but Project:Wanderlust is Alices new project and it’s really quite lovely. She writes about travelling with her husband and two young daughters and has a real passion for travel which always comes across on the page. I’m especially looking forward to reading all about her road trip to America next year and it’s really exciting to see her make plans for their once-in-a-lifetime trip.
We’ve really been getting stuck into the planning for our USA road trip next summer. Flights are booked to leave June 20th and the first few hotels have been reserved too. Two months, 11 states (plus a quick hop over to Canada) and a whole lot of fun!
Next up is Sara from This Girl Loves. Sara is a 20-something solo traveller and has recently come back from a trip to Ecuador, where she took the most amazing photographs. I love living vicariously through her blog as she is lucky enough to visit some fantastic countries that I haven’t (yet) been to, such as Korea, Japan, Thailand and Romania.

And finally, I’ve chosen Bonnie Rahkit’s blog, The Style Traveller. As the name suggests, Bonnie is a Fashion Editor and this blog is all about style. The slant is definitely on fashion, from what to wear, shopping guides to street style, all with fabulous global backdrops.
This blog is a fashion editor’s insider guide to some of the world’s coolest hang outs and great places to shop, eat, sleep, drink and party when on your travels.
And of course, coming from a fashion girl, it’s filled with tips and advice on what to wear when you’re there, what to pack and a secret address book of the best places to shop when you reach your destination, from urban shopping areas to beachside flea markets.
